Some people say it sucks to take engagement photos one a cloudy day. I say make the best of what you have. I chose this location in Omaha, Ne because it has a lot of trees. If it is cloudy out it can be dificult to get the clouds and the subject witht eh same contrast. However there are easy ways around this. 1st you dont take many photos with the sky in the background, or you can use some techniques with the camera that will help you capture the contrast and color depth needed to get a good photo of the subjects. Here are a few Photos I took recently at the Royal View Hall on 13th and Phelps in Omaha, Ne. The Royal view hall is a small place hosting about 100 to 150 people but it has a nice wood floor and the stage is well lit with spot lights in the celing pointed directly at the stage. You don’t see this often but it makes it easier for a photographer to get the photos we need. Here is one of my favorite photos from the wedding.
